G'day - and it is a quite a good one too!
Blue sky, sun with a bit of warmth, and the cold wind which has persisted for weeks now seems to have abated. I might even venture out of the house and do something energetic

Morning, just. Been around since 07:00, Maya had an appointment at the groomers at nine, blooody early but this groomer is so good you have to take what he has. He's looking through the rest of the year to see if he can get the girls together but not looking good. Its only February and he only has 50 vacant slots for the rest of the year!

Anyone tried that creeping-crack cure stuff as currently showing on the General Forum ... and the need of which was showing as I stood in the shower this morning?

Beautiful blue skies here first thing but grey cloud now. Quite warm tho’.
Just recovering from laying a stepping stone path in the lawn. Did four slabs in the hour before lunch - now taking a break or else I’ll do my back in again - then nothing gets done Our new rescue dog goes to the vets for her first check up there this afternoon at 3:15 - and our other dog has his blind eye checked and a repeat Rx for his regular eye drops. We were not going to take on another dog after our Toller died last September - but having taken on a disabled dog with three legs and a blind eye who has turned out to be a stunningly good dog, we were susceptible to the plight of another disabled dog from the same charity. She is missing a substantial part of one of her rear feet. So - as my son informed us - we now have two dogs with 6 legs and 3 eyes between them..... If anyone is interested in an older dog or one that is a bit “special” - I can certainly recommend it. They make the most wonderful pets. Have a look at “Adopt an Oldie” via google. As an example - they had brother and sister Retrievers aged 10 whose owner had died. They were described as being very confused as to what had happened to them and needed a home together for their last few years. Do have a look.
