Morning everyone, 6.5 degrees on the display this morning, much nicer than the last couple of days.

Love watching the birds on the feeders, going to have to get a book on how to spot the different species. I know the difference between a Robin and a Hawk.
Hi Bob, here is a thought for you.... we are in the RSPB and for membership it’s Ł48 per year. When I joined, I received a free RSPB book on British birds and free access to 170 reserves across the UK. Visiting the hides is quite interesting and we found the “twitchers” helpful and friendly.

Last night we had prolonged torrential rain which stopped at about 9 a.m. The birds came to the garden to feast on the worms and lizards. 4 Ibis, a green parrot with a yellow beak, then the geese came for left overs.

I hope you feel better soon. I gather you have a new camera, so looking forward to seeing the photos when you feel better and you are up to it.

The 4x4 was collected to go for a service. Both front tie rod ends are to be replaced. I want the car safe and reliable for our trip into the remote region. Been very busy with that, getting ready supplies and hardware.... too much to list here. 7 days left before we head off.

Afternoon Steve, Yum we haven't had rabbit for a while, all the local shops that sold fresh rabbit have closed down

We're having some Lincoln sausages for tea with roast potatoes with a garlic herb mix.
