Good morning Pete, how are you?
You might know the answer to this.....I brought out a rechargeable Bluetooth transmitter box to plug in to the bedroom TV. I tried it on the TV headphone jack and the sound in the wireless headphones came out ok, but not brilliant. The right side seemed weaker than on the left. I suppose it could be more wax in the ear on that side. There is an optical lead/option on the box and an optical jack on the LG TV. The box has a switch for TX and and a switch for RX. Should I try the optical output option or stick with the headphone jack? |

Jessica is going to Christmas carol concert in the cathedral tonight with her younger sister. I haven’t decided yet if I am going. I am getting ready for our expedition into the bush up north. An 8 hour drive with 3 hours off road across the plains. Thinking of getting the wheels alignment checked and 4x4 serviced before we go. On the day we go, my brother in law will be taking the lead in his Pajero. One of his sons suffers from severe autism and he is taking him as he likes the ride in the car and loves to see the animals. He is slow to get up in mornings and when we stop to eat, it’s at least an hour for him to eat his food. It could be a long day and I would like to get to our camp before it gets dark. I have done it once before, driving at speed across the plains against the falling sun before the light fails. The others - are heading off before us in their Land Rovers. So this weekend I am checking the 4x4 and carrying out tent repairs, reproofing the flysheets and treating the seams. Nothing major and acclimatising to the altitude 6,000 feet. Thank goodness I stopped smoking all those years ago |
