LOl I've hidden the remote doodah for the central heating otherwise the kamp kommandant would have it on 24/7 even in Summer.


It's been a rare occasion tonight & I've been out dahn the pub in town It was my sister in laws 60th birthday. I haven't been in that pub since 1970 it's changed a bit since then
A cauldron of Hotpot & pickled red cabbage was laid on for food and boy was it good, I'm stuffed

Morning all. Somewhat dark but at least there appears to be no rain.

Up and till I moved here I've never had central heating. My late father thought it was an extravagant luxury and only the rich could afford. Mum never liked central heating as she said it affected her breathing. Both Val and I were happy with our gas fire in our tiny flat, leave all the internal doors open and the heat would spread around the rooms, providing the fire was on.

Well now I have central heating and it is on, just to take chill off of the rooms. Not on all day just a few hours in the morning and evening.
I would love a coal or log fire but I've no chimney, and it's not my house.

Off to a toyfairs/swap meet in Shepton Mallet today. Taking Redfive.
