Thoughts with you Ian.
It’s a bright but slightly cloudy morning here.

I think Autumn has arrived - duvet back on the bed last night, and a definite chill in the air this morning, as well as a heavy dew overnight.
The missus is still staying with my sister, so I'm still on chief cook and bottle washer duties. I'm quite proud of how tidy the house is - which to me, proves that it's Angela that makes all the mess
I'm wearing my unqualified and unpaid accountant's hat at the moment. For my sins, I'm putting together some figures for the Club where I drink, to see if an alternative supplier's deal on offer for buying our draught ales is worthwhile; I'm keeping the local allotments society's accounts in order (they have a shop selling all manner of garden stuff - turning over around £20,000 a year!). And just to stop me being idle, I'm doing my annual accounts check on the PTFA monies for my grandkids primary school - daughter in law is the treasurer.

I'm worn out

Re my "main" laptop. Diagnostics confirmed a fault with the hard drive itself rather than a software problem, must have been when it slipped out of my fingers even though it only dropped a matter in inches. Refurbed hard drive fitted and now loading Windows. I hope to hell it doesn't take as long to load the back up as it took to make it
