Have you ever come across that problem before, the noise when braking? Everything looks ok underneath. Are there any grease nipples on the P6 I should be looking at? I am hoping that I don't need to do anything to the rear brakes.
They can do.....remember they're getting on a bit
Probably just rust spots on the discs.
Only 1 grease nipple & that's the sliding joint on the prop

I will apply grease to that. I wonder if that could be my noise, only when braking,if its seized could make it resonate as the diff moves when braking..

Wouldn't think so but you never know..................make sure the half shafts are tight also the diff nose mounts are prone to failure but they tend to give a nasty clonk when you pull away

as long as it's solid it'll go on a 2 poster, the front pads go at that reinforced bit at the front of the floor & the rears I think go on that box section just ahead of the rear suspension x member (across the back of the floor) but I would make sure it's good & solid there first or the hoist will simply lift the doors off their hinges
