No luck here, due to cloud cover.
We have a Mike Bareham who is one of the members who helps run the Clacton Camera Club. Wonder if that is maybe who you mention ?

I haven't seen any lightening or heard thunder here yet. the breeze has picked up & it's feeling much cooler thankfully.

I'm just listening to some 'Canned heat' and sneaked a tall glass of wifeys whisky and all's well on the Lancashire riviera.

Sounds good Andy. I'm having a whisky chaser with Cider just having some supper & suddenly thought of Derek! we've had a bumper crop of tomatoes with this hot Summer weather so I'm having tomatoes on toast with a thick spread of Marmite. I know he was partial to it.

Good morning all, good morning Ian. I wonder what prompted you to think of Derek? I often think of him and how he was a gent and a witty man. Still missed.

A whisky chaser with a cider would wipe me out. Tonight, I am flying and the plane takes off at 11:30pm. They don’t bring the food around until 01:30, so I will have a B. Mary and get my head down. There was a cheaper flight to London on Saudi Airlines via Jeddah, but no alcohol is served and their site said there will be religious announcements, so I decided to stick with British Airways, have a drink, take the edge off the flight and relax

What are your plans for the weekend?
