Then we will go to Dent Magic to have the dents done. Its a petrol version and expensive to run. Apart from the key and petrol issue, it’s a beautiful car to drive.

We have a pool of cars Richard, 4x4s and the CRV we are sorting, belonged to Jessica’s mum and was used by Serena. When both of them died last year, the car lapsed into under use. It’s a 2.0 iVtec engine and is more thirsty than the diesel 4x4s we have. We will sell the Honda on behalf of the family and the proceeds can go into the family pot. Thanks for asking

Default (Windrush) Black Pearl

I have booked his Black Pearl Tourer in for a complete make over, they want her for a week at the end of this month, not that there is a lot wrong with the paint as it stands, there are a lot of swirls and faint scratches, all the time Derek had her he looked after her the best he could, but hopefully she might be brought back to her former glory.

Outstanding Julien. We look forward to seeing the Black Pearl when the work is completed. I still think of Derek, every time I do a birthday wish. I think about his style of presentation and how no one was a favourite. When Derek did the wishes, he treated everyone with respect, courtesy and equality.

After the ignition barrel was repaired (a latch and spring was missing), we took the CRV into a body shop and they quoted £63 per door and £73 for the bumper’s scuffs. A full respray for one of the 4x4s would be £820 plus VAT (lacquer is peeling off). Like the Black Pearl, they would want the 4x4 in for a week. The repairs today on the CRV ignition barrel, a new key cut and the door locks replaced came to £35 inc Labour. With the elders discount for pensioners and African prices, it was a good result.
