Morning Freddie, The rains eased off and it's drizzling here now, I was going to get some petrol & wash the car but I don't think I'll bother, it'll save me watering the plants though. Blimey! I really thought it was Sunday today It even feels like Sunday (if that's possible)

I soon realised when I saw Jeffs Saturday brekkie pic.

Morning all - from what is now a wet and windy Cornwall. We leave on Monday - destination Warwick/Leamington Spa. Before then, we need to take the caravan's awning down and pack it - preferably in a dry condition.
Looks like we'll be hanging around for a break in the weather - forecast is it may get better by teatime.

Good morning Bob, how are you? I see you were busy clearing the drive with your mate, a task completed

You are some smooth handsome dude, a Crocodile Dundee to be sure

Should have been on your boat this weekend Gt. Yarmouth air show

Plenty of planes flying over your boat way I think.

Just had the Lancaster and spitfires over the house, a lovely sight while looking out from the garage 👍

Red arrows came over about 12.25.

Been a hot sultry day not a spot of rain.

Pleased to say the weather has slowly improved during the day down here - sun has put in the odd appearance and the wind has abated too. We managed to get the awning down and packed away ready for departure on Monday.
Tomorrow, we'll concentrate on enjoying the best part of our last day's holiday in Cornwall -
  • Fish'n'chips by the harbour at Mevagissey for lunch
  • A wander around the harbour to work off the lunch
  • A Cornish Cream Tea at the other side if the harbour for tea

Tonight was our last Cornish pasty night, washed down with Rattler Cloudy Cyder (that's what it says on the bottle - NOT cider), and strawberries and double cream for afters.

I have to admit to a certain envy of Bob's situation. He's now a resident of this County that is such a feast of grub, booze and really friendly people

Evening all, have I missed much? been away in Nottingham for a couple of days, doing the training for my carpet cleaning. Armed with more knowledge,I just need to work out the sums now, and decide whether to lease purchase the equipment, over 3 years, or to buy outright, looking at a kick in the butt over £3k

And I'll keep it that way till you return next time, I might take a cruise down to Mevagissey after lunch, but depends on the weather. I'll be in a Firefrost ZT with fancy wheels.

Glad you have had a good time. If I do not see you tomorrow then have a safe journey home.
