It's dead simple just 3 wires, earth, live and the I-bus.

There is a pic of the wiring in this thread http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=40250

Here is T-Cut excellent How to : http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=39119 He took it a step further with the fan speed lights but you don't have to do that.

Hans - are these still available? By the way excellent piece of work.

Seeing how T-Cut has fitted his and the additional space alongside it is there anything else that could be monitored via another unit?

My presumption is that with the AC on the fan runs constantly and keeps the temp down? Anyone else see this?

Also am I right in thinking I don't have a PRT as it is a 99 model?

Simon
Well thought it was worth updating, I think my thermostat is accurate as now it's colder outside the car runs 4c cooler and still with AC off runs up from 84ish on the motorway to 90's & up in traffic reasonably quickly.

Is there something else I can check as with AC on my car never gets above 88c, so confused?

Don't forget when the aircon is on the fan is constantly running so I guess the engine will be kept a smidge cooler, my 1.8 temps are running exactly same as you, so I think no probs.

As a test run your car no aircon on and let temp rise once it gets 95 ish turn on aircon and engine temp will drop dramatically to mid 80's

Is there a thread for ordering one of these gizmo's?

I have PM'd Hans. Is this the procedure? This thread is getting very long and not easy to navigate in a hurry.

Mr Edd,

Option 1. DIY kit - standard mail 41 euro.
Option 2. DIY kit - registered mail 45 euro.
Option 3. Assembled tested - standard mail 49 euro.
Option 4. Assembled tested - registered mail 53 euro.

On second thought I prefer you order by email to my normal email address.
Please specify the length of ribbon cable you want and of course your shipping address.

My email address is: [email protected] which is also my paypal account.

This is part of Hans post on the 16th March 2009 which I used to order mine, don't think anything has changed.
