Couple of questions please:

1. Are the big black connectors numbered in any way, or are the holes I have to put the new pins into easy to recognise? I think those pins lock when in, so I’d like to get it right first time…
2. I presume I remove the under section of the dash to the right of the steering wheel – how?
3. Guess the glove box also has to come off – again, how please?
4. Any more bits of trim etc need to go?
5. Once you have those bits off, can you access where the wires come in from the big black plugs easily enough? Do you just kind of feed the wires through wherever you can find space, round behind the stereo etc?

Sorry for thicko questions, but I don’t want to bust anything
Sorry I can't help with the cross loom as I've never done it, but one of our North West members fitted a loom a couple of weeks ago and found the plugs that the pins from the cross loom fit into were not present on that particular car, so they had to be obtained before the job was able to go ahead. I have no idea if that is normal for a car without a cross loom but something to be aware of.

Cheers… always lots of good news with my motor. However, as the sockets for the pins for the actual PF’s were present in the connectors, I’m hoping that these others are too

To remove the under wheel plastic there are 2 screws nearest to the pedals you will see, then once they are out simply pull the trim and it comes off, the glovebox required the carpet inside it to be peeled back to reveal 3 torx bolts undo these and the 2 or 3 that are visibleat the top wheb the lid is opened

Thanks to all the heroes who helped show me the way! Yourself, Typhoon190, Bernard, Arctic, and Rasitlin.

I had to solder the wires in the end, as the connectors weren't there, and I'd decided that life is short. Be very surprised if the doors ever have to come off again anyway.

Hardest bit was getting the !@*!!$%@!! glovebox back in flush again

Hi all. In fitting my power folds I was in the process of fitting the across car wiring myself. I hadn't realised that that wiring might actually be in place. I've already done the driver's side and passed the two wired into the body of the car was going to do passenger tomorrow.

I'm guessing if present the wiring will terminate at the block on the door jamb so the door has to come off so that the wiring from the mirror can terminate at the block.

If this is the case can anyone tell me what wiring I am looking for in the loom/ big black connector at the door jamb please?

Mine is a 2001 Club 75.

Thanks! 👍

Pretty sure they're orange, one of them with a red stripe...?
