We had a break in the weather today, so cracked on with the footbridge and the path, making fairly good progress. Just seen a mongoose with a snake in its mouth dash off into the bushes. Satisfying to see nature at its best. Rain is forecast for tonight, that’s how it goes

I'm going back to my youth for dinner tonight. Birds Eye fish fingers, haven't had them for years.

Been another hot day . Very over cast and muggy now could be a storm brewing.
Spent the afternoon potting up the hanging baskets.

The rohododendron looking good this year pity they dont last long

Evening all, It's still raining and definitely brought the temps down

, thank heavens I've had three 'orrible nights sleep with the muggy heat.

Haddock in parsley sauce with roast spuds,roast butternut squash, peas & broccoli for tea

The Rhododendron is looking beautiful Freddie

, our blood red Rhododendrons are just out in the front garden and look really nice, yes It's a shame they 're short lived the flower heads are beautiful on them.
