Before we came away, I pulled my back out and saw a chiropractor. She manipulated the disc back in and walked over my back. It was a relief.
She said I had to drink lots of water as the discs dry up and become brittle if they are not hydrated. Apparently the discs are mostly water.

Just as a mark of respect I'd like to "avoid" the forum during the period Phil. That's the only thread that mentions it but doesn't really come to any kind of conclusion other than agreeing its a good idea.
