How did that pass the last mot? Looks like a no brakes soon joby. And, why was the rope there? Obviously driven by someone who never checks their vehicle. I bet you don’t let him drive it away when you have finished until at least the brake pipe has been replaced.

Currently doing some rust removal whilst awaiting welding work on the front sills of my tourer. Managed to get the rear wheelarch liner off to check under there, fearing the worst. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the almost complete lack of rust compared to the inner part of the wheel arch, which has needed treatment followed by red oxide primer/hammerite and probably something thick and gooey to keep the water out! Unfortunately, the long metal cover that covers the fuel pipes inside the wheelarch crumbled in my hands so will have to find something else to protect them.

After buying a leak off test kit I thought I might as well see how my injectors are doing as on 137k. Hardly any leak off at all. All within spec.
Other general things such as check fluids are all ok. Next week, full service. |

Today i fitted an dash cam, to my 75, and it was very straight forward to do, Managed to hide all the wiring behind the headlining, both front and rear, traced the reverse light wiring, tapped into that, so the rear camera records when i select reverse,

Treated the 75 to a new boot badge and a good wash all in preparation for putting it up for sale (decided I can't have both the 75 and the ZT so keeping the ZT).
Once I put the old reg back on via the DVLA I'll be listing it. |
