We used to use 47s too, as well as 08s,09s,33s,50s and 73s. None of them were brilliant but the EDs (73s) were the most windproof

I drove 08/09, 20, 26, 27, 37, 47, 56, 60, 86, 87 & 90s. Out of all them the 60 and 90 were about the best, probably because the fitters hadn't taken the panels secured with 9 screws off and put them back with 6 screws yet!

Sorry the weather took a turn for the worse, it was dry by the time I got back to Clacton
