Good morning Phil and I am ok thank you I had a sleepless night Saturday and spent yesterday catching up on some shuteye

Morning Derek and anyone else who has got their ears on (old CB phrase!).

I've just got back from the school run, and the sun is now shining brightly - but eh bah gum, that wind is a bit fierce and a tad on the cool side too.

I'm on computer duties now - mate's daughter has just bought a new laptop, and I said I'd set it up and get it running how she wants it. Despite the fact it's a new machine, the version of Windows loaded on it when it was manufactured will be hopelessly out of date, so it'll probably take most of the day just to update that.

Booked my flight yesterday, the cheapest I could find on Banana Republic Airlines 19 October. I will be back mid January to do the classic car insurance. They always ask for 7 photos and proof of mileage, although Andy did it for me this year. In January I am to have monitoring scans, plus some other stuff, so will be here until everything has been done. I hate flying back to the UK in the winter from the tropics. It feels so cold. I must be getting soft Please do let me know if you are up to having a visit just from myself before before I leave. I wouldn't keep you, as I wouldn't want to bore you If not, it's okay and quite understandable.

I must log out. Every Monday I am out with the over 60s walking group. We walk the North London Parks and have a get together at a cafe after. It helps those who struggle with loneliness and new friendships are formed. Our oldest lady walker is 83. Catch you later
