I meant to post this yesterday but forgot after posting about Barry's sad passing.

Hi All,

I'm starting work as a freelance photographer .

Will be working part time so still at the shop as well for a while yet as we gradually wind down the business.

I'll be freelance working for a company called Modix who provide IT solutions for the major car manufacturers/retailers.
VAG Group, Hyandui, Lexus to name a few.

The job involves taking photos of their pre owned car stock to the dealerships requirements .
I then upload them to Modix who operate these companies online marketing .

I'm going to be taking over a round in the Colchester/Ipswich area when the current photographer moves location but for the moment I'm doing holiday cover so will be out all week in Southend, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich and also up in Norfolk at Caister .
The one in Caister is for Haven holidays who also use Modix for their online images and website .
Needless to say I'll stay on the boat Tuesdsy night as Caister is only 20 miles away

I'm hoping when the shop closes to do this plus my car audio stuff and be completely self employed .

I got this job as one of my good friends who is a professional photographer does work for them and put my name forward.

I sent in my C.V plus portfolio and went out training with my friend a couple of weeks back and got the job .

Cheers,

Cheers,
Good luck Jeff - but you shouldn't need it. Your skill as a photographer, allied to your verbal skills and your eating ability - all added together means you'll have no problem. Power to your shutter

Saturday mornings won't be the same without the smell of bacon Ian . The poor shop will probably go bust .
