![]() Went for the heat shrink option...fitted...working. Seemed to raise boot profile a bit so adjusted 13mm bolts. Washers close but not catching.
BTW mine comes with both push button option in the car and a key option in the boot lid...after watching very carefully using the in car button, I tried it with the key (well someone has to) and I have to say if you're expecting it, it's not too alarming and there is a slight delay...just leave the key in the boot lock till you're ready to close it again...or at least until you've had a practice!

![]() Photos on post 227 steve I made the washers myself from aluminium I made them using some spare hinges so I could make sure everything cleared the bottom washers have a taper to prevent them fouling the clip and the top ones are secured with a 3mm grub screw so they can be moved for getting the ideal tension I'm sorry to say but the springs are not strong enough to open my boot
