Nice Maxi! If you ever need a twin carb exhaust manifold I have one lying around... (and probably the carbs too)

Cheers! Would they fit a 1500?? I do need a new carb. It sucks in air where the throttle butterfly pin goes through the carb.

I can now find all the gears! Removed a little plate on the bottom (underneath the car) of the gearlever and cleaned and filled with grease. Much improved!

I´ve emailed him but had no reply as yet. If you get the actual part numbers I think it would help. I think he has just a long list of part numbers and if you give him a match then he know´s he´s got it

This will make some of you chuckle. As I type this, I am sat on the side of the road, in a broken down Maxi. Clutch slave cylinder went bang. Managed to get a brand new one from the local factors, got back to car with tools, proceeded to fit, fitted after a fight with seized pipe unions, proceeded to bleed, thought I can manage this alone, I have. Shut the bonnet down only to find the damn clutch pedal assembly has fallen to bits! Scrabble around under dash to reassemble, get back together, no pedal. have had to call the ball and chain out to help. She is whinging because she is missing emmerdale.
