In S. Africa we use a private security company with armed response and they have attack dogs for catching the baddies. Because of our remote location, we have to be self sufficient and deal the justice ourselves ....Of course within the law. It's a war, no messing about. We found that the criminals worked in gangs looking for anything metal to sell as scrap. We had to beef up the farm with razor wire and electric fences, install panic alarms, sensor zones inside and out. infra-red beams and set up traps to harm and catch the bad guys.
