Some bits of private health work better lol Thankfully the consultant submitted to let me go home. The CT scan report he will email it on today. He said it scanned everything, the heart, the blood vessels, the bypass, lungs, brain. He said my heart is okay but it showed a massive hernia invading over half of the inside of my chest. I am going to email the report to my GP in London and to the surgeon who operated last year for further advice.

Ros and yourself are having a nice time with your new boat and won't be too long before spring and the warmer weather will be keeping you on the broads
Oh dear, Phil.

So sorry to read your post and the part about the hernia.

Get that advice and something done ASAP.

Thinking of you and wishing you all the best.

Sorry I missed this first thing Phil,

So little goes on in the lcoz lately I forget to check in as much

I hope you get some good news back from the GP.
It all sounds very scary stuff to me Sir but then I know with your medical background you have far more understanding of whats going on than the most of us.

Ros and I wish you all the best and we are hoping that both Jessica and yourself can join us soon for a nice lazy day out on the water......It really is a good way to relax and unwind

Thank you Jeff and Ros, good morning my apologies for not getting back. I was wiped out. The hospital: A severe allergic reaction to the i/v iodine contrast gone bad.

But hey ho! You can't keep a good man down, the cat with 9 lives and all of those...positive thoughts

We'd love to come to the boat in the summer, stay in the village, eat fish n chips, mushy peas, down a pint, have fun and chill out

We are looking forward to it

Good morning everyone, what a horrible wintery day it is here. The rain is lashing against the windows, both the dog and cat refuse to go out and are both sat with their leg's crossed

Good morning Steve, thanks those good wishes. I am taking it easy and making sure I drink at least 3 litres in a day, plus rehydrate powder It's still very hot here. 29C today. Apologies, I have run out of thanks.

A few years ago I toured Wales with Jessica in the V6 and thought about meeting up some of the guys along the way. My attempt to drive through the Brecons had to be abandoned after the VIS packed up, no power to climb those mountain roads. The tour ended up visiting Jules who sorted it out. We had the pleasure of meeting James.uk What a lovely man he was, still missed. We love Wales, the Welsh language and the country side. I am biased as my Grandad worked down the mines and looking back, I have many happy childhood memories from the valleys. All that changed down the road later on with Thatcher

What plans do you have for the summer, a holiday perhaps?
