Hi Dave, I found cobwebs in places, it just goes to show how quiet it is in a derv's engine bay.

I know what you mean. The 75 tourer I went to have a look at to see if it was any good, also had cobwebs in the engine bay and the plenum. That car is now owned by Andy NO1 at Tamworth.

Like a few others, took the ZT out for a good run as it hasn't be used much over the last few weeks with a combination of working from home, having the works car for on-call and using the Volvo for running to the railway station.
Quick check over before hand and noted the coolant a little low, still just a nat's above the MAX but had dropped a bit so added a splash. I had noticed a damp patch on the lower RH corner of the radiator but doesn't seem to be leaving any drips so I might have to take the front bumper off for a proper check. Might just be a weep on a fin, in which case a blob of JB-Weld will probably stop that. |

Over past few days, new drivers seat base cover (lucky and got last blue summit one from Rimmers), illuminated sunvisors and replacement (cheap stick-on) passenger side mirror
Hope today to strip drivers seat cover off again and stick the Velcro back to foam, had no glue the other day Last edited by GaryGee; 20th December 2020 at 11:25.. |
