Well, further to my issues I was having with my Steering Controls, as in Thread: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...light=steering
of which sadly I have to say I didn't get much help, decided to return permanently today so I changed over the Switches with a Spare I had, but still the same unfortunately... So I decided to reset the Stereo, namely remove it completely and re-install the Steering Adapter - a bit of a process I have to say, the usual plug in this, then turn on radio, find a station, save it, switch off radio, switch on again to check, then switch off, then plug in patch lead, then test it all again - which I'm happy to say made the steering controls work again correctly!!! Then of course setup the stereo how I like it all over again!! - "P-I-T-A"! For how long it works, I know not...??? Maybe it's a faulty Steering Adapter - anyone suffered from this before??? Ciao...

Replaced the badly scratched drivers window and drivers waist trim that had a slight dent in it. Been trying to get around to it since buying the car. Also fitted a door pocket light.

Blue Boy's MOT was a few weeks back and Yella Fella's MOT was yesterday. Both passed but both has advisories on brake pipe corrosion.
So on both cars, pipes rubbed down, two coats of rust eater, two coats of Waxoyl. Job done. Rubbed down; That should keep the MOT guy happy!

No need. It looks worse than it is, it's just surface rust. I'll get another few years out of them yet

Well Today ...
Been busy, replaced bumper, bonnet, passenger wing and passenger headlight. Then cleaned her ready for a nice drive over the peak district tomorrow.
Couldn't get hold of a non xenon projector headlight (all brackets broke on mine) so transplated the back off a rover 75 headlight. Fidly job but saved a few quid. |
