Got sick of spraying my mk2 mesh, only for it to discolour after about a month, always liked the look of the mk1 stainless mesh, so I did this... uploadfromtaptalk1423329814578.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423329843097.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423329865895.jpguploadfromtaptalk1423329893097.jpg

Nice! Didn't fancy cutting away that plastic behind the mesh next to the fogs?

Did you manage to find a way to get your skirts on whilst still being able to see your chrome sill trim?

Cheers mate, didn't think about cutting the plastic away to be honest! And a bodywork shop I know has said he could make me some skirts from scratch, or modify the genuine ones (not that I can find any) but it won't be cheap.
It's booked in Monday to have the rear bumper resprayed and a boomerang spoiler sprayed and fitted.

Wish I had the patience needed to achieve all that you have, hope to see the car in the flesh sometime.

Thanks Alan, it becomes a obsession. I'm lucky to have a very understanding wife! It will be at Sherwood forest if not before. Are you going to pol?

Neither did I until someone told me to do it ah, yeah, would be fun to fit, after fitting mine and realising it uses the holes behind the sill trim as it's main fitting point it would be quite a pain!

Ooh! That will be interesting
