Just go along to the Celtic supporters club and sing the "the sash my father wore". Tooth will be removed for free before you got to the 2nd verse.

My late father in law took me to his local one afternoon .

It was a Celtic pub .

All his mates were there and he said loudly (so that everyone would hear) " this is my son in law and he is a Rangers supporter".

Thanks for that John i said ..

When we moved here in the late '70s there were two very distinct sectarian pubs. The Ranger's pub was called "Billy's Bar", the Celtic pub was the "Johnny Cope", also knows as the Pope's revenge as the interior was green and gold! Neither still exists, Billy's Bar was demolished years ago, the Johnny Cope building is still there but is no longer a pub, had a number of incarnations over the years, currently a cafe/bistro.

When I first moved up to Norwich I went to Carrow Road with new work mates to watch Spurs play Norwich.Spurs scored I shouted Goooooooal.
Deadly silence all around think I would not be here if iwasnt amongst some friends , spent the rest of the match in silence.

I was in a pub with a mate who had no interest in football.

The Scottish cup final was on the telly and the place was packed out with Rangers fans .

Dundee Utd scored what turned out to be the winner.

As it went in the net he shouted out "good goal".

We were lucky to get out alive .

In the same pub that season we were sitting enjoying a pint and some Partick Thistle fans came in wearing scarves.

My mate asked one what the score was and was given an abrupt " eff off".

Aberdeen had beaten them 9-1.
