Hi Derek.
Yes I did, spent three hours with him, could do with more visitors trouble is its a horrendous journey getting there, that North Circular is a nightmare.
He appears upbeat with his condition, and he is going to see a specialist this morning.

Julien.

I have just seen on the news that India wanted the quota for Indians coming into the UK to settle, raised. Theresa May who is currently in India negotiating trade deals, has refused to raise the quota. I think this reflects how she is under pressure to make changes to the UK immigration policy.

Good morning Julien, thanks for the update and for visiting Mike. 3 hours is a marathon visit and what with the stressful drive, I hope you will be able to have a relaxing day.

Congrats on the duel nationality Phil It cant be easy dealing with government depts if ours are anything to go by.
Good morning Ian thank you. Part of the reasons for the long delay was that the boss of Immigration was replaced. The new broom threw out all applications suspected of having paid bribes and just to be sure, all applicants had to reapply, guilty or not. I didn't get involved in trying to bribe an official to speed things up, as I don't believe that is the way forward.

Corruption is a problem for the government employees and members of the public. Take police pay. Last year the police in Kenya were given a pay rise. A constables monthly take home pay went up to £252 and for a Sgnt it went up to £353. No kidding. They have families to support and bills to pay, so it is no surprise to find them leaning on you for something extra, a traffic stop or road block. It's a right game I can tell you

How are you?

It involved me cleaning my flat; that's plausible as I did indeed clean it a couple of days ago. What made the dream odd, is that I was cleaning out a water feature- that was situated where my book case is...

Anyhoo, there's me dismantling said water feature when I saw part of a massive spider! I quickly replaced the lid of that part of the water feature. It's at that point I woke up!

Very strange! Maybe it's due to me cleaning my flat then watching a programme where pest control specialists from the UK go to Australia and experience their counterparts work...

Anyway, it is a lovely sunny day from what I can see. Alison really needs cleaning- she hasn't been cleaned for just over a month...

Not good.

Great news RE: Dual citizenship Phil!
