A wonderful day, a big thanks to Rod and to everyone who came and made it brilliant and successful. I hope Marina Brian got home okay after his alternator packed up. Internet is bad here tonight with it fading in and out, so will have to pause. Catch you all later

Excellent Phil - looking forward to seeing the car related ones once you've had time to sort 'em

Firstly,Jan & I would like to pass on our sincere apologies to Rod & other members for our early departure, the reason being,we had a fairly lengthy journey home.

May we also pass on to Rod,a very big thank you for arranging this meet at a very spectacular venue, the Inn,the scenery & the food,oh! the food, outstanding, last but not least, many thanks to all who attended, which made the day.

Lastly, sorry we did not get to chat as much as we would have liked with old Friends, hopefully next time Guy's,really enjoyed the day, look forward to the next one.

Best Regards.

John & Jan.

No need for apologies John - not many folk would have travelled over from Whitehaven as you & Jan did
It was an absolute pleasure to see the pair of you on this side of the Pennines - look forward to the next time you venture over the border

I'm sure we'll be repeating the Lion Inn meet again next year - Phil has already said he will come up here a little earlier next time, in search of a bit warmer weather Southern softies - I'd have worn me shorts in Sunday it was so hot - if it hadn't been for me varicose veins
