hope this works. Might it be worth teleohoning the appropriate authorities, presumably the council who intend to get it moved, to inform them of your intensions? Can't see it can be theft any more than the council taking it without the owners permission.

I think that technically, from the date on the council notice, the car should have been removed yesterday, but it's still there (as of 13:30) today.

Not sure if the note I placed on it yesterday has allowed the delay, but today added another with Andy's telephone number on, so hopefully if anyone does go to take it away, they'll see this and get in contact with Andy first.

Are you still on for getting it tomorrow Andy?

Good Luck with the collection, once it's collected and stored it's a waiting game for a little while. It then becomes claimed and legally owned by the person who has it. I'm sure all parties involved can agree to a slice of a sale if it gets saved and doesn't get `claimed` These things happen for a good reason.
