Hired a car at Stanstead (London Stanstead!) and drove up. Surprisingly I had no bother readjusting to being on the left! I do have a RHD car though so maybe that helped.

Came back with Ryanair (lost his flight fees ) that's Ryanair for you no cancellation or individual passenger flight changes possible).

Nice to see the Uk though, sort of miss it now!
