They did use Me109's in the film the Battle of Britain, as well as Heinkels He111. They were obtained from the Spanish Air Force.

All the He 111's were all powered by Rolls Royce Merlin Engines:lol: I also believe that that the Me's were also equipped with Merlins. Spanish Specifications.....
