In my hurried state of mind I had forgot to thank Andy (Shiner) and Peter ( Harrisop48) for stepping in and being in attendance so this gathering could carry on. And everyone else who turned up.

Most of it has been said really even the catcalls and whistles I got when I went to pay a call of nature inthe field no covering growth this time of year grrrr, seriously guys it was funny but thats life when you reach a certain age the water pump isnt as reliable and hard to get repaired on the older models. It was great to see Peter (Harrisop48) again you have been away too long Peter, loved the cup !. Repairs were done discreetly in the main apart from a rather noisy drill! needs a muffler andy.
Met two charming Canadian gentlemen who I must say are much better than their neighbors (american spelling) David got his persistent condensation problem resolved due to Ed and Andy well done both. The weather was kind dry and bright but still cold so it was on with my russian submariners fur hat but with rover badge on front which kept my bald pate warm Overall I think we had 15 cars and I did take pics but i know i missed some so apologies for my tardiness but every time i was going to get camera out of car someone else came over to chat. I will post the pics later when I am on my laptop. Overall a great meet with some good old friends and new ones too Looking forward to seeing everyone at The Ely February the 8th is second sunday I believe lets hope the weather is as good as it was today Last edited by Woof25; 12th January 2015 at 11:35.. |
