Default Ode to nice wee mog.

There was a wee cat that colin took in .
A proper wee mog with a frame that was thin .
She'd been through the mill and bones she had broke.
But stubborn she was and no way did she croak.

Happy years she spent with her master .
but sadly she now has met with disaster.
Col found a nice spot in his garden to lay.
A cat who had pleased him for many a day .

Forget her he wont because pleasure she gave .
God bless that wee puss who has peace in her grave.

Nite nite faithful mog .

Sorry to hear about your cat Colin. My one and only cat 'Toggle' had a sad story to he's end.

Hi Colin I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. We have 2 siamese and I never realised what a cat lover I was until I met my wife and her cat came to live with us. Sadly, he died last year of heart failure and although it was difficult at the time the best thing real was, like Anna said, to give some other cat the chance to have a good life with you. We went to these people:

http://www.catconcern.co.uk/

and got the two siamese. The woman there, Glynnys, does amazing work and is totally devoted to making rescue cats happy again. They are the most adorable cats and the male (Dax) was so shy and nervous we never even got to stroke him for the first three months.... another three months on and he and his sister feel like they've been with us forever. It's a sad time, but if you have the strength then take in some other wee cat that currently is just sat in a cage or shelter somewhere waiting to restart it's life.

Hope you're ok. Here's a few pics of Dax & Tootsie.

Cheers
Bluey

This is really bad news and I am sorry for your loss Colin.

It is also a sad reflection on the dogs owners letting them out like that. I suppose they were domesticated dogs and not strays.

We have 7 dogs here, many geese and chickens as well as a cat called Marmalade and they all get on fairly well. None of them get hurt.

I did have to chase off a pack of wild dogs early one morning who managed to dig their way into the geese pen. We lost 9 geese that morning. Some were savaged and some died of fright. That was sad and I admit I tore out of the house hardly with any clothes on and tore into those dogs with the metal of my leather belt. Maybe I was foolish, but the dogs cleared off into the woods. An experience I shall never forget.

I am sorry you and your cat had to go through such a terrible ordeal. Words fail me.
