The current issue of Auto Express* has a group review of window rain repellant treatments. They gave the best buy to the Halfords own-brand stuff (cheap, easy to apply, lasts for ages). I'm probably going to get some and try it this weekend, once I leave the car dealers where the Tank is being repaired AGAIN (currently sitting in their reception doing this on my PDA).

Other than my brief flirtation with Jaguar ownership, prior to the 75, every car I have owned was a hatchback and had a rear wiper, and I miss it loads on the 75 as the rear window really seems to hold on to the water droplets.

At the same time, a rear wiper on a 75 saloon would spoil the lines of the car, so I'd still rather do without.

* Full disclosure, I am a journalist for Dennis publishing, which publishes Auto Express.
