Default MAF Sensor

Perhaps a stupid qiestion, but it is possible to fit a MAF sensor two ways. There is a directional arrow on the sensor itself. Which way should this point? I assume in the direction of airflow, but would like to check (I have long since stopped assuming that what is already in is fitted correctly).

I think the plug going into it is the critical bit, as round the wrong way it won't function correctly.
I thought the security screw locations made fitting the MAF itself wrong unlikely, but could just be cause I'm use to changing them.
Anybody know for sure save me whipping off the cover to check?

The physical body of the sensor will only fit in to the aperature one way
