as for mid it could be wrong also my cars never used to apear on mid as they was never noted on a policy via reg as they where on a traders policy only cars that would be spef listed was the ones we was going to use more than a week.
also only got pulled once and they where going to take the car of me until my friend got down with the cert so we started putting them on the data base after that

i have a traders policy and we have had the police check all the cars in the yard which is my own yard that they are all on the data base they have told us that it dosent mater as long as the car is on the dvla data base it must have some insurance on it. even if its sorn or not running, and we can get a £100 fine for each car we have that is not on the data base. i honestly dont know what the truth is over this now i have heard so many different things over this matter now

i had the same thing with a cdt i brought was moted and had trade plates in the car driving it back to workshop got a tug and they wanted to lift the car for no insurance. will say they rang my insurance company who did stick up for me by saying all traders had 7 days to get car on the data base and they did let us go in the end. the police in bexhill know us now as we look after a few of there cars in the garage and they do leave us alone as they know we have full insurance but we do get problems outside the area
