You have balls of steel, letting the KwikFit chimps get their mits on your car.

I dare say the upper management of KwikFit reads this and other forums to pick up the punters' feelings and tries to see if things can be improved. There will be good and bad KwikFit depots just as there are good and bad MG Rover owners.

And I believe yours was at Halfords Derek not Kwik fit.
I would have more faith in the consistency of good service from Halfords branches.I think Kwik can be very opportunistic.

quick fit are like any other business ,it all depeds on who you get ,they have far more poeple that have worked in the car trade for years than newbies ... my son was a relief manager with them and had to go to other branches to and put right what the thought was wrong .every branch he went to he looked it as a customer ,ie waiing times and unnessary work they was trying to get , so he mae several meetings with the top brass but they didn seem to do anything about it .he did however make more money by making the branches more effiecent ... how ever one can only do so much in the end he left and is a under manager in a garage in maidstone ... sems the top brass are only intrested in money and not the right way to set up a banch to attract the public ... the one branch i have found to be very ood is the grove vale one in east dulwich ,thats cos dave there is more comcernd with giving a good service to the customers so they in turn recommend them and the branch make more money that way than cheating the customers out of thier ard earned ... i worked in retail for 20 years and at one point was in charge of over 4000 staff. i set up all the shops to run the same and give the customers a good serice and to be as helpful as you can ... i have even took on shops taking £9000 and within 4 months it was taking £27000... its all about the quality of service ,even if a customer is just sking about something if you come across in the right way they will return and buy something ..... as a rule i alweays told the staff that its the customers that pay their wages and without customers there will be no job ....

the mechanic i get to do my cars (self employed, mobile) told me once, that he,d fitted new shocks to a womans car, woman goes to kwickfit for her mot and failed it on the brand new shocks so she phoned the mechanic shouting etc, he drove to the branch checks the car over and what they,d done was squirt some oil on it ant told woman it was leaking, just to make her pay for extra work, he got branch manager etc they agreed to mot the car for free, bunch of chancers is being polite.
