Default Difficult to get it in 1st gear.

Hi all,

I know this is not a question about our great cars but as you lot are so knowledgeable!

Its the works van i use sometimes, a 2007 rear wheel drive Ford Transit with the 6 speed gearbox , they had it from new and had no problems with it up to now. i drive it last week and the clutch started to only work at the bottom of its travel. I had a look at the gearbox and its got (like our cars) the slave cylinder inside and it was leaking clutch fluid. As the brake and clutch uses the same large reservoir, after 6 hours of been parked up the clutch was back to normal, then after 30 mins driving it starts to go again.
So i phoned the boss and said the clutch slave cylinder has gone and as its still on its 1st clutch (its done 150k) you may as well have a new clutch as well and maybe the DMF will need replaceing.
So i was booked in for new slave/cutch and he got the phone call 'the DMF needs charging' so it was done as well.

Now its difficult to get it in 1st. Boss phoned garage and they said 'the new clutch needs bedding in'

What do you think???
