Anything that wears out through normal usage - tyres, brake linings, filters etc.

I tend to take a fairly phiosophical view to things like clutches, brake rotors etc. as well. After all, the rate that they wear depends on individual driving style and, as I would assume there aren't many on here who have owned the car from new, (go on, prove me wrong) then I think you have to accept it's something you need to factor in to your running costs, as the previous owner might have slipped the clutch all day, or just sat on motorways in 5th gear, it's a gamble.

Some clever person with databases or spreadsheets should collate all these figures and give us an average of running costs etc.

I know my running costs and speaking as some-one who already gave in to head over heart and ended up selling my beloved beast for a crappy 1.6 economic option (I will never do it again never ever )

But I like to think it was karma and meant I was destined to own and love Blue boy and you now have to put wi me roflmao

Ross thankfully agrees and married me so he really does have to put up wi me

The problem with that though is that some members do their own work whilst others pay a Garage, so teh costs woudn't be 100% accurate, unless you split the two into groups. Though as a rough guide it would be ok.

I would be happy to produce a Spreadsheet if Members are willing to share this sort of info. Would be better to include Saloon / Tourer and anything else to seperate the classes of each vehicle.
