Thats only a couple of years! you probably will find most things are ok.
as for pimpmobile that depends how Chaved it has been, mine is pretty near standard apart from the wheels and very low profile tyres!

that's a nice example, Keith, nice colour too.

The one round the corner is standard with the exception of some TSW wheels, that look too small for it, Ive seen the same style of alloys on yours on Ebay, and as the car needs tyres anyway I would be keeping my eye out for a set of some more suitable.

Ive had a crafty rub at the paintwork early one morning whilst walking the dog, and although it is very flat and covered with algae, should cut back nicely.

Just picked up on this thread, My manager has had a few 3 series softy tops and absolutely loves them (think i's 4 rag tops and 5 tourers) knows them inside out, and drives them hard.

Service items are pence and insurance is reasonable, he swopped one for a very nice P reg Jag a few years ago but p/x for another convertable after just a couple of months his gut feeling was that if you thrashed the Jag it would break never had that with his beemers.

I should add he has never bought one under 100'000 miles either, was tempted to have a tourer before my Citroens but couldn't find a nice one at the time

it isnt going to be
Iwas passing the car walking the dog tonight and the guy who owns it was tinkering with one of his other cars.

Id stopped to have a chat with him, and his mate has paid him for the car, and he is waiting for him to pick it up.

He was saying his mate is getting a garage to restore it for him, and he has been quoted £900 just for the respray ( which Im sure it doesnt need  ) anyway- its not my car so not my problem- and on the plus side it will save me a lot of work
