Ah. It appears that you'll need to become a member of the forum rather than a visitor. If you'd like to join us, just click on the blue 'subscribe' oval in the top right hand corner of the screen.

My Garmin nuvi 200w seems pretty accurate, but unfortunately most post codes are NOT!!!

I usually end up about 200 yards from where I intended to be.. lol..

E.G. my Sat nav sez I have arrived a good 1/4 mile early when I go to the Yorkie meetings..

Oh and when there have been recent road alterations my Sat nav often shows me as driving across the fields! lol..

I could not wait anymore.
Just build into the car.
And it works nice !
9% corrected and now exact the same as the garmin.
I am happy with it.

Postcodes can cover various sizes of area, sometimes they only cover one location/ one address, but other times they can cover an entire hamlet spread along a road. Your Yorkie meeting was probably at a location which had a postcode to itself, covering quite a large area, so anywhere in that area is the correct postcode.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
