Windscreen replacement
Hello
I need to replace the windscreen on my 2002 Rover 75 tourer (2L Diesel). Currently I have a windscreen with rain sensative wipers, but I can get a better deal on a replacement windscreen that doesn't have this feature. Can a non-rain sensative windscreen be fitted as a replacement or would this either not fit or cause a failure\warning light to be constantly displayed on the dashboard? Also it talks about a 'green shadeband' but I can't see any green shading really - just a black shading around the edge of the windscreen and where the rear view mirror is mounted Thank you Keir |

As you may well know most automotive windscreen replacement companies stock both types of replacements, the version with the sensor is no extra cost if supplied via the insurance company on a claim if your policy covers windscreen replacement.
If you want to revert to a standard windscreen and are worried about errors on the IPK to my knowledge this is not an item that would display a message. |
