Default Retrofit rear cupholders

Hot on the tails of my latest mods , a question.

Has anybody out there successfully retrofitted a rear cupholder to a Ztt ?

As far as i can see its a matter of getting the correct parts and cutting the foam/fabric of the seat base.Is this correct ?

Any other issues ??

I bottled out of doing it...

You need to check that the metal frame is in place. The cup holder assembly comes in three parts, You need to cut the foam, fit the holder, slide the assembly in then cut the seat cover. On the factory fit one, there is a plastic trim sewn on the cover to stop it tearing. Then fit the bezel.

It's a bit never racking to cut the cover as there isn't much room for error....(hence me not doing it)

only other thing you could do is buy a rear seat bench with one already installed. expensive, but is another option, if you can find one

I have two rear base seat frames with cup holders, they have the covers removed, the foam lining are with them. All you have to do is do a switcheroo with your cover.

How'd ya like them apples.
