Default Ashes to Ashes

Is it just me or would others like the 'time travel' thing dropped and for this just to be a police drama series set in the 70s or 80s with the character of Gene Hunt being totally and utterly rude, arrogant and non PC (aint it nice).

Also at the end of the episode there was the 'press the red button for the music' which I did and the writers wrote some funny lines with which Gene comments on the groups and members.

Unfortunately for you lot, we are now stuck behind a broken train. We'll be here for quite a while but I don't care, I'm now on overtime.

Hmm... I was wondering what they've cooked up there as well

Let's hope the BBC stands firm and ignores the howls of disgust from the PC brigade as they did in series two.
