Default Rover 75 Diesel air bag light/steering rack

Hi, We have just replaced the gearbox on above car which involved dropping the steering rack down. After putting it back up the airbag light has come on. Have been told that it could be something to do with a rotar coupler?? has anyone come across this problem and recified it. We have checked the connections under seat etc.

Regards

welcome along

If you changed the rack, I can't see why you'd disturb the steering wheel.
Having said that, rotary couplers have been know to fail, second hand one is about £25
