Default min and max levels

Hi all does anyone no where the coolant level should be topped up to? I have a 2.0 litre but my expansion tanks not clear and even though the manual says that it does, it doesn't have any min or max levels on the tank itself

Another trick is a small torch behind reservoir where you can see levels clearly.
Many overfill without realising till it blows off!
Jules has some photos of this view, but don't think they are up yet.
Normal views from TC etc is just under the fins as looking from above.

EDIT: and in Davids link above.

There's another way of seeing the coolant level - without taking the expansion tank cap off.

On the RH end of the tank - the end nearest the fusebox - there are two horizontal marks on the vertical face. Sit a narrow beam (but bright) torch on the top of the tank (RH end) and you can see the coolant level. If it's between the two marks, it's ok. This works very well at night.

NB. If you 'paint' the horizontal marks with a fairly chunky felt pen, they're easier to see.

just to add to the above,if you fill above the max tab viewed inside the tank it will be expelled through the cap.
