Red face Souls of MK.. Is it just me!!!!

Maybe this is just me but i went to souls of Milton Keynes ( they are my local MG dealership) a year back and had my drivers side wing mirror replaced and sprayed in trophy blue and paid over £300 , didnt mind that!
But last month i had noticed that it was peeling and the laquer was completely off of it, so i took it down to them with a receipt and had a few words, they said they would resparay it for me, and the guy would be off his hol the next week. Well i went back today and was told the boss and the guy were both out and to pop back in an hour after firstly the receptionist saying " how long is a piece of string" to me. I popped back he had told me that they would just remove the cover and spray it and then put it back on, well he takes keys and 5 mins later the boss says its too flimsy and will break if we take it off you need to leave the car here for it to be sprayed on the vehicle...Great. Now when i ask when...he says 2 weeks time.
I know im whinging and thats what girls do best but i just had to get it off my chest...
Also i had my service done the day before and full valet and that boss took my car for 5 mins into workshop area and it the interior was full of what looked like dandruff on steering wheel, dash etc...
Any better dealerships around...Wakey wakey i have finished now..ha ha

Dear oh dear, what a kerfuffle. Get some chrome mirror covers, they look much nicer.
Shame about your dealer, my ex Rover one here in Leicester, Bishop and Bishop, seem pretty good. Bit far for you though.

Tashax. I have no experience of MK souls as I always use Olney Souls as I work next door, park in their compound most days & walk thro the showroom. I therefore have a very good rappour with the staff.

I don't think Souls have a body shop do they? The first time I needed the body shop it went to yardly garage on the A428 via Souls, this was some years ago but I am sure that when we built MK Souls there was no body shop provision. My cars have always gone their in the past.

I can recommend a small body shop at Lone Pine Garage in Warrington (also on the A428 just outside Olney) They are about to do some respraying for me on my ZT. I have not used them yet but they come highly recommended to me by my neighbour who rebuilds & restores classic cars for the rich, he specialises in AC Cobras, Astons etc. He always sends his cars here as the paint has to be perfect. I have a card somewhere with their phone no on & a contact I will dig it out & post tomorrow.
