Default Cigarette lighter socket

Recently changed mobile phone, previously I used a 6310 in the Cark91 cradle, which charged the phone etc, but the bluetooth adaptor I now have doesn't, so I tried to plug the new phone's charger into the ciggy socket, but it wouldn't fit.It seems there are two sizes!

Anyway, I don't like trailing wires, so I've just fitted a ciggy socket in the armrest. As the charger was too long, I couldn't used the marked-out position, had to put it horizontally at the front.

Took only around 45 minutes, including grinding down a flatbit to get the right size hole! Took the power from the glovebox fusebox, using a piggyback fuse already in place.

Sorry, no pix

Malcolm
