Default Fading of paintwork

Are there any colours which fade more than others?
I have a 2002 Moonstone Connie and am thinking of having some paintwork done on the rear bumper, but I'm afraid the colour match will be poor after 7 years.

If it's any help, thanks to a young lady Fiesta driver I had to have 2 new doors on my Moonstone Green car last year, and the repairers, (Norwich Union's semi-in-house outfit in Luton) matched the paint perfectly.

I would imagine that the better outfits match the paint from scratch somehow, rather than using the OE come-what-may.

I'm about to have both bumpers done by a local firm, and the owner showed me round their paint mix equipment. I admit he could have been **********, but it looked impressive! He did say they wouldn't try to "patch" the bumper, but would do the whole panel.

Malcolm

PS If you see another Moonstone Green Connie in Norwich on Saturday it might just be me - Reg Number is MIL ****. Can't arrange a mini-meet though, sorry.
