Default Hi To Wagon And Horses, Who Owns S542 Aox A Question

Wagon and horses are you ditching that M111 PKG plate and strutting your stuff with a S plate which is S542 AOX???You are the oldest in the club with chassis number 1477,

However if we secure its sisters S471 AOX, then this one will superseed yours with chassis number 1382, however IF we secure the "KING DADDY"
S525OVP, Then this car will take the crown mate with chassis number 1196, a 1998 S plate and the oldest known surviving model.

But you are king at the moment mate and enjoy it.

Thank you for joining the club, BUT! THANK YOU MORE FOR SAVING A "S" REGISTRATION ROVER 75.

MG.

In regard this post mate, Its a extract from the 1999 S reg forum taken and posted over here after details from that forum have already been explained by Reebs to the individuals mate. I just wanted to ensure he/she saw it via the main pages .

good point though if it had not been placed over there before.

Smile S Reg Left Hand Drive

A lot of these cars came out of Longbridge in 2002 and were sold by Hartwells in West Bromwich, (now demolished)

All models and both RHD and LHD

They were the launch cars and mine still had Valencia programmed in the Sat Nav. It had been registered in Jan 1999 S Reg by Rover and subsequently went to a dealer on the Cote D`Azur and had French plates

I bought it in December 2002, very low mileage and fully refurbished at Longbridge prior to sale. Full Connoisseur SE Wedgwood Blue

They were selling a lot of them to the continent. The salesman told me that he sent a transported with 5 cars out and I know of two guys from Manchester who collected the cars and drove them to Spain.

Hartwells had specialised for many years in selling LHD Cars straight from Longbridge.

Somewhere I have the newspaper Ad listing more than a dozen cars all S reg and avaialable the week I bought mine.

Mainly XDA and AOX

My car went to Luxembourg in 2007

I found another Wedgwood Blue in poor condition and this has probably been scrapped.

Anyone wanting more info please PM me. I have uploaded some images
