Try this http://www.xdelbox.com/how-to-remove...edirect-virus/

Every page that you are redirected to are spoof pages which load spyware to your pc. So don't do it anymore if you can avoid it until its fixed.

I hope this helps

Well the Mallware prog from Radi8tor worked!

Although it gave only two options = purchase or exit, when the scan finished it gave the option to "clean" all 8 found files, I clicked on that and bingo it said it had cleared them all and now needed to reboot, I did that, and Google is now working again

Interesting that none of my other anti virus progs found anything???

My thanks to all who helped - tried to help.. me solve the problem..

Thats cos it's not a virus! Some of the spyware writers are damned clever, what you got was something that highjacks your browser - as you now know. Rarely will anything other than dedicated highjack software find the offending culprit.

Anyway, all's well that ends well!

Hi James,

Glad it worked for you, had me worried for a moment, when I first got that prog a while back it was free and cleared anything it found with the option to buy it, which I did, thought they may have made purchase compulsory before it would clean. It's well recommended on a couple of PC forums I frequent.
